D&T workshop - Cars on the Move

We had a K'nex Workshop with Mr Hill from XL Wales.  The children had to solve the problem of how to make a vehicle using K'nex and magnets.  The children came up with lots of ideas for a vehicle .  They were to work in pairs or alone and had to create a mode of transport that moved by magnets only.  The children worked really well together and came up with some excellent models. 

It was great to see the children working so co-operatively, discussing what to do next and how to further improve their work. 

We all had a fabulous time making our models and were so proud of our accomplishments.
