PLEASE NOTE - Y3 PE days have changed. Pupils will now need to bring in their PE kit on a MONDAY and a TUESDAY.

YEAR 3 LENT ACTIVITIES  - Fairtrade Food Fair! 

 A big thank you to everyone who helped with the Year 3 Lent Activities. The Y3 Fairtrade Food Fair was a great success and raised over £90.00 for our Lent charities.  The pupils and myself would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support with this venture, it was much appreciated.

Weekly Spellings

Spelling words will generally be sent home on a Friday with the pupils undertaking a spelling test on their words the following Thursday.

W/C - 17/05/10

Group E - badge, fridge, lodge,  garage,  package,  village, college,  knowledge,  bridge,  judge

 

Group D - spelling rule for making words 'plural'

 


Group C - term, serve, butter, gutter, skirt, shirt, first, third, nurse, measure

 

Group B - football, inside, outside, sunlight, bedroom, someone, anyone, everyone, playground, lunchtime

 

 





 


 
  

For your information...

  • PE – Pupils will be undertaking PE on a Monday and Tuesday. Please can you ensure that pupils have trainers with them on both days, so that if necessary we can take advantage of good weather and go outside! 
  • Homework – Homework will generally be given out on a Thursday or Friday. Pupils will then normally have a week to complete the work.
  • Reading – Pupils will bring their reading books home on a weekly basis according to their spelling group. Details of which group your child is in and the day they need to return their books to school can be found in the front of the red Reading Record book.
