SCHOOL TRIPS
Welcome to year 5!!
This is a page of when year 5 went to explore the synagogue.
The synagogue we visited was in Cardiff
Firstly, all the boys were asked to put a thin hat on called a kippah onto their heads.
There were these two ladies called Aileen and Louise, who were In charge of the Synagogue and Aileen offered the girls to wear a kippah and most of the girls wore one.
Louise was talking about different things in the synagogue and how they believe in different things to us.

COMENIUS NEWS
This page was produced by Marianne Evans and Erin Carbis. In our school we have four Comenius partners in other countries they are Italy, Spain, Sweden and Czech Republic. Many times a year we hold festivals that are also held in other countries across the world one that is coming up very soon is European day . where we will ask you to dress your children in clothes of the country you have chosen to represent on European day.
What are we doing!
A couple of weeks ago father Phillip was dew to go on a trip to Sweden. But unfortunately the volcanic ash from a volcano in Iceland stopped his plane from taking off. Now Mrs. Glover, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Wade are going to Sweden to see one of our Comenius partner schools. Hopefully there plane won’t be cancelled as well.
Also this is our last year of comenius partnership so after this visit to Sweden there will be no more visits to other countries.

Value of the month
By Megan Roberts & Betty Parrish
In our school, we have a ‘value of the month’
This term our value of the month is hope and last month value of the month was ‘forgiveness.’
The value of the month is good because, we can all get along and work on friendship, forgiveness and this month hope, nothing negative
Hope is all about looking forward to things and you have a little sign of positively. From L-J
