We are very proud of our beautiful gardens.

We enjoy getting lost in the maze! |
Children are able to learn about nature and how to look after it during lessons and by joining gardening club.
Gardening Club is held every Monday night after school during spring, summer and autumn from 3.10 to 4pm and is organised by Mrs Decker, Mrs Saal and Mrs Revera. All age groups are encouraged to attend, including parents and adult volunteers; however infant members need to be supported by a responsible adult. We are always thrilled when new members join, especially adults so if you wish to join please contact us.
National Garden Scheme
Our gardens will be open to the public to view as part of the NGS, on Sunday the 28th June, 11am-3pm.
The vegetable garden is used to help children understand where food comes from and the life cycles of plants. Our school cook has used produce grown as ingredients for school meals. For example she has used the leeks grown to make a soup and the rhubarb to make crumble. Early years classes have made soup and salads .

The Patchwork Gardens are looked after by year 1; they decide what flowers to plant. Last year they also grew lettuces in with the flowers!

Alongside the Patchwork Garden is the Senses Garden, each section has plants growing which taste, smell, rustle or feel unusual. Of course it is also beautiful to look at.
