Sherman  Dance

On March 2nd 2008, children from year six: Katie Davies, Erin David, Kim Dreyer, Siriol Mitchell, Alex Brabban, Tristan Parker, Jake Bright, Harrison Burgess, James Marsden, Tyler Rogers, Max Pasch-Jones and Isaac Rapley, and Megan Watson from year five went to the Cardiff Sherman theatre to perform a dance to the song ‘The way I are’ by an artist called Timbaland.

Our dance ‘Dance to the Beat’ was in the modern style of dancing, our costumes were black trousers, white t-shirts with florescent lightning bolts on them and bandanas round our heads.

There were lots of schools from the vale and Cardiff who performed as well, lots of different music and different styles of dancing, even a bit of ballroom!

We all had a great time and hope that next year’s Sherman dancers have as much of an experience as we did!
