Newsletter 04/09                                 12th March 2009

Dear parents,

Thank you to those of you who supported our first curriculum workshop today. I am sure that you found it informative and useful. We intend holding future workshops on a range of topics, details of which will be sent to you through the newsletter.

Time Out: Mrs Jury is looking to recruit more staff for Time Out. If you have any spare time from 3.00pm – 5.30 pm during term time, please see Mrs Jury.

Mothering Sunday: we have invited children from the infant department to lead this year’s Mothering Sunday worship at church on 22nd March. If you are able to support us we will be delighted to see you.

Mrs Saal: I’m sure many of you have noticed that Mrs Saal is expecting her second child. Many congratulations to her. She will begin her maternity leave on May 5th. We shall be appointing a teacher on a short term contract to cover the leave. I will inform you of the appointment when it is made.

Year 2: I have already informed parents of Mr Turner’s replacement when he leaves at the end of this term. Miss Wills will take over as Year 2 teacher from April. Mrs Davies (HLTA) will take over as SENCO, supported by Miss Wills.

Yours sincerely,

Susan Jones
