Mrs Sandra Williams

Mrs Williams, who has been a teacher at St. Brides for twenty four years, will be leaving us in July.  We are saddened by this news, yet excited and pleased for Mrs. Williams as she plans for the future.  Mrs Williams is to take up a new teaching post in Caerleon Endowed Junior School.

During her time at St. Brides, Mrs. Williams has been fundamental in building the outstanding reputation the school has for Music. She has contributed to countless concerts, shows, choir performances and will be greatly missed for her wonderful skills as an organist during school Eucahrist and other services. Music aside, Mrs. Williams has also been a valued member of the leadership team at the school and has assisted in leading the school forward through several inspections and has been a ‘constant’ in times of change.

I am sure that you will join me in wishing Mrs. Williams the very best for her new post in Caerleon. I am sure that we will be ‘keeping in touch’ with her and I look forward to hearing about her musical achievements in her new school.

The Governing Body are being proactive in appointing for the school’s current vacancies and you will be notified about arrangements for classes next year as soon as possible. I appreciate your patience in this matter.

Finally, may I extend my thanks to you all for your support in such a busy term. It will be lovely to see you next week and welcome you to our Familiarisation Week Activities.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs. M.C. Matthews

Acting Headteacher
