Dear Parents,

RE: RECEPTION TEACHING ARRANGEMENTS - UPDATE

As you are already aware, Mrs. Jones teaches for four days at school, usually Monday-Thursday. On a Friday, Mrs. Jenkins has been teaching the class. However, Mrs. Jenkins will be covering Mrs. Wade’s maternity leave in Year 2 until the end of the year and will be unable to continue her teaching commitment in Reception Class. I would like to thank Mrs. Jenkins for all that she has done for Reception Class during the first half of the year and wish her the very best for her time in Year 2.

I am delighted to inform you that from next week, Friday 10th February, Mrs Lorraine Davies will be teaching the class each Friday. Many of you will know Mrs. Davies, who is a qualified teacher and also our school special education needs coordinator. Mrs. Davies knows the children well and this will provide continuity for them.

As usual, the learning support assistants in the class will be Mrs Leyshon and Mrs. Harris.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries relating to the teaching arrangements for your child.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the rugby!

Yours sincerely,

Mrs. M. C. Matthews
