Year 5 teacher arrangements

Dear Parents,

 

YEAR 5 TEACHER ARRANGEMENTS

 

As you are already aware, Miss Hoggarth will be Acting Head when I am away on my maternity leave. This means that she will no longer be in class. I am sure that may of you are concerned about the arrangements for your children during this time and I am delighted to be able to update you at last.

 

On March 12th we will be joined by Mrs. Wendy Gordon. Mrs. Gordon is an experienced teacher who is going to be seconded to us from Gwenfo Church-in-Wales Primary School, where she is a member of the management team. Mrs. Gordon is particularly experienced with upper Key Stage 2 and will be an asset to the school in my absence. There will be an opportunity for you to meet with Mrs. Gordon at a coffee morning – arrangements to follow.

 

Although I am aware that change such as this may cause you to worry and be concerned, I can assure you that the Year 5 children will be in very good hands! Mrs. Gordon will also be a member of the senior leadership team in my absence, alongside Miss Hoggarth, Mrs. Glover and Mrs Jones.
