St. David’s Day 2010: Eisteddfod Homework
Dear Parents,
March 1st, the day of our School Eisteddfod, is approaching rapidly so I am sending out details of some of the competitions I have organised for this year’s celebrations now! Other competitions will be completed within school.
Entries may be brought to school as soon as they are completed but definitely by Tuesday 23rd February please in order for the judging to take place.
Please would your child use a pseudonym as we do not want to know who the winner is until this pseudonym is called out on St. David’s Day itself. Each entry therefore should be clearly labelled with your child’s pseudonym, their House name i.e. Dunraven, Tusker or Sker and their Year Group e.g. Y4.

Please include a design sheet and any trial flags you may make as well as the finished flag. Diolch!

The Preliminary Rounds for the musical competitions for our Eisteddfod will be held on

House points will be earned purely for entering! I hope your children will enjoy entering as many of the competitions as they can to earn points for their House.
Many thanks as always for your kind co-operation,
Diolch yn fawr iawn,
S.E.Williams
