Homework
W/C 30th January 2012
This week the children made soda bread for St.Bridget’s day. Our big write will therefore be to write an instructional recipe. In preparation for this please ask your child to tell you how they made the bread. They should remember what ingredients they used, what techniques were involved and in which order they completed the recipe.
The spellings sent home this week are high frequency words that we need to learn. Please practice these with your child as often as possible.
There will be no maths homework this week.
As you are already aware, on Wednesday 8th February Year 2 will be holding a coffee morning. We will be making biscuits to serve and have learnt a new song to perform. If your child has any food allergies please let me know as soon as possible.
Many thanks
Mrs C Jenkins
