Welcome to Year 6
I hope that you have all enjoyed the Easter break and are healthy and well.
To facilitate your child’s home learning I will be sending a learning letter home each Monday. This will arrive via parentpay or post (if you do not have parentpay). It will also be uploaded to the class page on the school website.
The letter will break down activities for the week in each of the Areas of Learning and Experience. Links to websites and resources will also be attached and uploaded to the website. Please encourage the children to complete as many activities as possible and send me their work via seesaw or email. Seesaw is proving to be a brilliant communication tool and I love receiving news/work. I will endeavour to make a comment so it would be good for the children to review their previous work and look for ways forward.
Although school is closed, it is vital that all children access curriculum content on a weekly basis. If you need login details for hwb or seesaw please contact me or the school; Mrs Money or Mr Mottram will be there.

Spellings will be tested every Monday.
Homework will be sent home and uploaded onto the school website every Thursday and children will have until Monday to complete it.
Homework will consist of spellings to learn, reading books and maths to be completed in the new homework books.

Please help your child by going over the Big Maths Beat That and CLIC tests each week.
It will help them raise their scores and levels in maths calculations.
